2021-04-22 [comment on Reddit]: "I've been using it for a few months and I think it's pretty great. The userbase is small, but per unit time (time spent looking a profiles, responding to messages, etc.), I think it's the highest ROI online dating site I use.
I'm much more likely to have conversations with people who have similar values (and not just with respect to financial goals), my match rate with people I think are interesting is higher, women are much more likely to "like" me without my having liked them first (I'm a Canadian hetero dude), etc. Even though the number of users on the site is low, I've actually gotten more "likes" on Firedating than on Bumble (which must have at least 1000x more users and could easily have many more orders of magnitude more users) *and* when I match with somebody, it's an interesting conversation half the time, which absolutely blows away any other dating site I've used in terms of rate of good conversations per match.
BTW, even though there's a field for your FI%, I don't have mine listed, so that's not why I'm getting so many matches."
